The RBST Festival of Native and Traditional Breeds

being held at Brinkworth House Brinkworth, Wiltshire(on the B4042)

on August 30th 2008

Boreray
Located in grounds of over 100 acres the Inaugural RBST Festival will enable the general public and those involved in farming at all levels to admire and learn about all the animals currently included in the RBST Watchlist. The list which identifies all those animals near to extinction has been the major reference base of the Rare Breed Survival trust since it was formed in 1973. Since that time the RBST are proud to claim that not a single animal has become extinct despite the ravages of disease and commercial pressures. It is anticipated that over 100 breeds of cattle, equines, sheep, pigs, goats and poultry will be on display and knowledgeable individuals will be available to advise and discuss the various merits of the livestock on display
